Introduction - Praise the Lord everybody. Welcome to ' Last Days' Prophetic Word' Youtube channel. In today's video, we will do Bible study of Matthew 24 and we will see about Rapture in Matthew 24. In description block, I have given two links. The first link is about the difference between Matthew 24:30-31 and Matthew 25:31 and message about Rapture. The second link is my blog where you can read about last days' messages. So, let us start the video.

Matthew 24:1-2 - First is that in Matthew 24:1-2, Lord Jesus Christ prophesied the destruction of Temple, this prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD. Due to Jewish Revolt to Roman Empire, Roman Army destroyed Temple and Jerusalem. So in this way, Lord Jesus Christ's prophecy was fulfilled.

Matthew 24:3 - In Matthew 24:3, disciples asked a question to Lord Jesus Christ. And it is written in

Matthew 24:3

And as He sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?

After this, Lord Jesus Christ give answer in next verses.

Matthew 24:4-8 - And in Matthew 24:4-8, it depicts about the signs before the beginning of the seven years Tribulation period. Those signs are - False Christs will arise, you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars and nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places. But all these things are the beginning of travail.

Matthew 24:9-14 - After this, it is told in Matthew 24:9-14 about the first 3.5 years of Tribulation period. In this, first we will read

Matthew 24:9

Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for My name's sake.

After this, it is written in the Word of God that and then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall arise, And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.

After this, it is written in Matthew 24:14 that and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world. You can see in this chart.

That when Antichrist will make seven years of covenant, it will begin seven years Tribulation period. In Daniel 9:27, it is written that He will make covenant for one week but the meaning of one week in Hebrew is period of seven years. In first 3.5 years of Tribulation period, the gospel of kingdom will be preached.

Matthew 24:15 - After this, it is written in Matthew 24:15 about Abomination of Desolation. What is this ' Abomination of Desolation ' ? It is an ' Idol of Antichrist '. About it is written in Revelation 13:14-15.

In this chart, you can see that after first 3.5 years of Tribulation period is finished, Antichrist will declare himself as God and will said that worship me, worship my idol and take my mark.

Matthew 24:16-29 - After this, it is written in Matthew 24:16-29 about the last 3.5 years of Tribulation period which is also Great Tribulation. Now, we will read Matthew 24:21

for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.

You can see in this chart that there will Great Tribulation in last 3.5 years because the rule of Antichrist will come upon the whole world for 42 months i.e 3.5 years. Regarding this, you can read in Revelation 13:5.

In Great Tribulation, there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders

and the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:30-31 -  And in Matthew 24:30-31, it tells about Rapture. Now, we read this verse,

30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And He shall send forth His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

And this verse is similar to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 which is verse for Rapture. Now, you can see table of Matthew 24:30-31 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 depicting the similarity between two.

In Matthew 24, it is written that then shall appear the sign of the Son of man which is Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. And in similar way, in 1 Thessalonians 4, it is written that Lord Himself shall descend from heaven. In second it is written that a great sound of a trumpet. In 1 Thessalonians 4, it is written that the trump of God. And third is that in Matthew 24, it is written that they shall gather together His elect. In similar way, in 1 Thessalonians 4, it is written that gather together to meet the Lord in the air. In this way, you can see that these two verses are similar.

Signs of Matthew 24:29

Now, I want turn your focus to signs of Matthew 24:29. After the fulfillment of these signs, Rapture will take place regarding which, it is written in Matthew 24: 30-31. You can see in this table.

Sun will be darkened - This sign shall be fulfilled in sixth seal, fourth trumpet and fiveth trumpet.

And moon will be darkened - This sign shall be fulfilled in fourth trumpet.

And third sign is stars will fall from heaven - This sign shall be fulfilled in sixth seal, second trumpet, third trumpet and fiveth trumpet.

And fourth sign is powers of the heavens will be shaken - This sign shall be fulfilled in sixth seal.

So, you can see all signs are fulfilled till fiveth trumpet. It means that Rapture will take place after fiveth trumpet. Rapture will take place at seventh trumpet. Why Rapture will take place at seventh trumpet ?

Seven reasons why Rapture will take place at seventh trumpet

For this, there are seven reasons

1. Last Trumpet -  First one of these seven reasons is that seventh trumpet is last trumpet. Regarding this, you can read in Bible

1 Corinthians 15:52

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

So, you can see that at last trumpet, Rapture will take place. The last trumpet word shows that there will be few trumpets before that. The last trumpet which is seventh trumpet regarding this, it is written in Revelation 11:5. Before seventh trumpet is blown, six trumpets will be blown.

2. Rapture is Mystery - Second is that Rapture is mystery. Regarding this, it is written in 1 Cor 15:51. Similarly, seventh trumpet is also called as mystery. Regarding this, it is written in

Revelation 10:7

but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then is finished they mystery of God, according to the good tidings which He declared to His servants the prophets.

At seventh trumpet, the mystery of Rapture will be fulfilled which God had declared to His servants the prophets.

3. Rapture before wrath - And third point is that Rapture before wrath. You can see in the screen that first seven seals and seven trumpets represent the Judgement of God. And seven golden bowl of Wrath of God represent the Wrath of God. Now, we will read

1 Thessalonians 1:10

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.

Rapture will take place before the Wrath of God which means it will take place before pouring of the seven golden bowl of Wrath of God i.e it will take place at seventh trumpet.

Now, we will read

1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God appointed us not into wrath, but unto the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Lord had not appointed us to face wrath but it is written in Word that we are appointed to face Tribulation. Tribulation will be due to first seven seals and six trumpets. But Rapture will take place at seventh trumpet which is before the pouring of the seven golden bowl of Wrath of God i.e before the Wrath of God.

4. Rapture is harvest - And fourth point is that Rapture is harvest. Regarding this, you can read in Revelation 14:14-16. It is written that John saw Lord Jesus Christ sitting on the cloud and have sickle in His hand. Lord Jesus Christ reaped the earth through sickle. This means that there will be reaping of harvest. This harvest represent Rapture. Lord Jesus Christ will send His angels to gather His elect from all the ends of earth which will take take at seventh trumpet.

After this, in Revelation 14:17-20, it is told about harvest of vine. It is told that the angel cast his sharp sickle and gathered the vintage of the earth and cast it into the winepress and the winepress was trodden and a lot of blood came out of winepress. This is the harvest of Wrath of God which represents the seven golden bowls of Wrath of God. But Rapture will take take before the Wrath of God i.e it will take place at seventh trumpet.

5. Sealing of the servents of God on their forehead - The fiveth reason is sealing of the servents of God on their forehead. Before the seventh trumpet, there will be sealing servents of God on their foreheads. Regarding this, it is written in Revelation 7:3 and Revelation 9:3.

6. Signs of Matthew 24:29 - The sixth reason is signs of Matthew 24:29. The signs of Matthew 24:29 are sun shall be darkened, the moon will be darkened, stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heaven will be shaken. These signs will be fulfilled by fiveth trumpet. Rapture will take place after the fiveth trumpet i.e it will take place at seventh trumpet.

7. Number seven - The next point is number seven. The seventh trumpet has number seven. Number seven is linked with Rapture. There are few examples in Bible.

A. Enoch - The first example is Enoch. Regarding this, it is written in Genesis 5:24 that he was raptured i.e he was taken into heaven. And it is written in Jude 14 that he was seventh from Adam. So in this way, number seven is linked to Rapture.

B. God is perfect - The second example is that God is perfect and number seven depicts the perfection of God. It is written in Word of God that Word of God is perfect and it is written in Psalm 12:6 that Word of God is pure and it is refined seven times.

Apart from this , in Revelation 5:6, it is told about slain Lamb, who is Lord Jesus Christ, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God. So, in this way, number seven is linked to perfection of God.

Apart from this, it is written in 1 John 3:2 that when Lord Jesus Christ will appear, we will become perfect as God. We will put on incorruption and immorality. So, in this way, number seven is linked to Rapture.

Rapture at seventh trumpet during Great Tribulation period - You can see in this chart that last 3.5 years represent Great Tribulation. During this period of Great Tribulation, Rapture will take place at seventh trumpet.

Now, you can see in the screen that in Matthew 24:32-35, it is told about the parable of fig tree. And in Matthew 24:36-44, it is told about the parables of Rapture. And in Matthew 24:45-51, it is told about the parable of faithful and evil servant.

Matthew 25

Now, we will talk about Matthew 25. In Matthew 25:1:13 it is told about parable of ten virgins. And in Matthew 25:14-30, it is told about parable of three servants. And in Matthew 25:31-32, it is told about second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and Judgement. Now, we read Matthew 25:31-32

31 But when the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then shall He sit on the throne of His glory:

32 and before Him shall be gathered all the nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats;

Now, you can see in this table, it is told about the difference between Matthew 24:30-31 and Matthew 25:31-32.

In Matthew 24:30-31, it is told about Rapture. In Matthew 25:31-32, it is told about the Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew 24, it is written about a great sound of trumpet but in Matthew 25, there is no mention of trumpet. In Matthew 24, it is written that they shall gather His elect. And in Matthew 25, it is written that all nations shall be gathered. In Matthew 24, there is no mention of Judgement but in Matthew 25, it is told about sheep and goat Judgement.

Now, you can see in this chart that after the end of the seven years Tribulation period, there will be Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Apart from this, in Matthew 25:33-46, it is told about sheep and goat Judgement. This is today's message. Praise the Lord to everyone.
